OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY TO BE SELECTED AS A WINNER.

Eligibility Requirements

• Open to all legal residents who live within a 10-mile radius of one of these Maaco locations: Covina, Glendale, Long Beach, Orange, Pomona, Stanton and Torrance

• Must have lived within this radius for at least 3 months at time of entry.

• Must be 18 years or older at time of entry.

• Only one entry accepted per individual/household.

• No employees, immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparent or “step” of each) or individuals with a close personal relationship with Maaco employees at the four participating locations.

• Entering implies agreement that if selected as a winner, their name and photos of both themself and their vehicle can be used on Maaco social media and websites and provided to local media as part of the campaign promotion.
  
  
  

Giveaway Period

• Giveaway opens on July 1, 2023 and continues for an unlimited period until the four Maaco locations decide to end the community campaign.

How to Enter

• Whether you are entering for yourself or for another deserving individual, be prepared to provide personal contact information as well as a brief story on why you or the individual is in need and deserving of winning. This can be a story of financial hardship, personal loss, giving to others, making an impact in the local community, etc.

Odds of Winning

• The Maaco leadership will review all submissions and select winners throughout the year based on their stories.

• The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

• The winners will be contacted by Maaco as well as announced online and to local media.

Prize

• Prize is a Maaco paint job valued at up to $1,800.00.

• Paint jobs can be for vehicles or anything else that can be brought into one of the four participating Maaco locations to be painted (a wagon, tractor, etc.).

Prize Restrictions

• Does not include body work; paint job only.

• Recipients have the option of upgrading to a more expensive paint job or to include body work and paying the difference.

• All prizes are non-transferable.

• No cash redemption or prize substitution is permitted.

• Federal, state and local taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner.

Vehicle Limitations

• No oversized units (cargo trucks, dump trucks, Astro vans, etc.)

• No classic vehicles (layers of paint can cause major paint reactions)

• Door jambs not included (only exterior of the vehicle will be painted )

• No Corvettes (fiber glass may crack or cause paint reactions)

• No motorcycles (fiber glass may crack or cause paint reactions)

Winner Notification/Prize Claim

• Winners will be selected throughout the year and notified by phone by a Maaco manager, who will then work with the winner to schedule the paint job.

• All paint jobs must be scheduled within 90 days of being contacted about winning or the prize will be forfeited.

• This 90-day period includes holidays and weekends.

• It is the winner’s responsibility to claim their prize within this time limit.

• Prizes can only be claimed at these participating Maaco locations: Covina, Glendale, Long Beach, Orange, Pomona, Stanton and Torrance.

General Conditions

• By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules, which are final and binding in all respects.

• If the giveaway is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including without limitation, tampering, fraud, technical failures or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the giveaway, Maaco reserves the right to disqualify any individual who is responsible or who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, modify or terminate the giveaway.

Limitations of Liability and Release

• No liability or responsibility is assumed by Maaco resulting from any community member’s participation or attempt to participate in the giveaway.

• Maaco is not responsible for any typographical errors in the announcement of prizes or these Official Rules.

• As a condition of entering, entrants agree to release Maaco from any and all liability, loss or damage incurred with respect to entrant’s participation in the giveaway.

• All causes of action arising out of or connected with this giveaway, or any prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action.

• Any and all claims, judgments and award shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, excluding attorney fees and court costs.

• By accepting a prize, the winner grants permission for Maaco and those acting under its authority to use name, photographs and written or voice testimonials for advertising and/or publicity purposes, in any and all media now known or hereinafter invented without territorial or time limitations and without additional compensation.

• All winners will be asked to sign a release form on-site in order to claim your prize.
